Behind the lens
Hi, I’m Bobby Garner – a wedding filmmaker based in St. Louis. I’m 32 years old and have been capturing weddings since 2020. What drew me to wedding videography was the way each day unfolds with its own unique story, emotions, and candid moments that deserve to be relived and remembered forever. There’s something incredibly meaningful about creating a film that allows couples to relive the best day of their lives, seeing and feeling moments they might have missed in a blink of the eye.
Alongside weddings, I also run a corporate and commercial production company called True Creative. Through it, I’ve filmed sports, corporate events, and commercial videos, helping brands share their stories with intention and impact. This experience has shaped my filmmaking style to be both creative and professional, ensuring every project – whether a wedding film or a commercial shoot – is captured with care and cinematic quality.
Beyond the camera, I love exploring new coffee shops, watching documentaries, and spending weekends with my wife, daughter, and our dog, Macy.
Fun fact: I can’t start an edit without a cup of strong coffee, and my most recent binge watch would have to be Severance.
